Research Experience:

• 2008 – 2009 – Detailed geologic and thermophysical unit mapping of the Gale crater Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) landing site; Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) of planetary surface analogs to support the ChemCam instrument on MSL
• 2008 – Developed tools to search for, calibrate, map-project and mosaic MARCI images; Compiled data used by the MSL camera team at the 3rd MSL Landing Site Workshop
• 2007 – Developed tools to generate OMEGA mineral composition maps of Mars, studied potential landing sites for Mars Science Laboratory, studied hydrated minerals in N. Meridiani
• 2006 – NASA Academy – Goddard Space Flight Center: Extracting Oxygen from Lunar Regolith via Vacuum Pyrolysis
